“Blind faith”, they say.
“They are just naive, they haven’t tasted the hardships and realities of life”, they say.
“Ignore them, they are dumb. I’ll believe it when I see it. Otherwise what you call “faith” is nonsense”, they say.
I’ve heard these sayings so many times before that it has become familiar. But just because it’s familiar, doesn’t mean it’s the truth . . . . .

Half Empty, Half Full and Overflowing
It is so easy to be overwhelmed by our everyday lives. It is so easy to be sick and just tired of our seemingly endless to-do-list. From work deadlines, to house chores, to ministry duties. And I’m not talking about a burn-out here. I’m talking about that phase where we are drown in our busyness, unable to retrace why we begin in the first place, but not yet quite reach a burn-out (which we will get to if we don’t do something about it).

So I Keep Calling
Dry seasons are the worst.
Dry seasons are those times when you feel like God is far away. Like He is just not within your reach. Every means of contact seem to fail. All messages unread, ph . . . . .

A Little Too Late
I think it’s a gift for all of us to come to a point where we have a dream, we have a vision of how we want our future to look like, and we just can’t seem to shake it off. It’s like that black stain on your white t-shirt that you can’t seem to wipe. And to some extend, it’s almost as if these visions and dreams are both good and bad. It gives us a reason to live.

Kobe, Basketball and Other Legends
I have no words. I cried watching Kobe took his last walk into and out from the court for the last time. The speeches and tributes done by other people for him and his final words before leaving the court got me tearing up. I don’t think he could’ve ended his career any better. I think it was a perfect way to exit the game that he has grown to love so much for good. What can I say? I love basketball, I really do.
