When I say “You are invincible!” What comes to your mind? The Webster dictionary defines invincible as “incapable of being conquered, overcome, or subdued.” Being invincible means that the issues and struggles of life; pain and disappointments and failures of life cannot conquer you nor overtake you.

We are hedged in (pressed) on every side [troubled and oppressed in every way], but not cramped or crushed; we suffer embarrassments and are perplexed and unable to find a way out, but not driven to despair; We are pursued (persecuted and hard driven), but not deserted [to stand alone]; we are struck down to the ground, but never struck out and destroyed; Always carrying about in the body the liability and exposure to the same putting to death that the Lord Jesus suffered, so that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be shown forth by and in our bodies. -2 Corinthians 4:8-10 (Amplified Classic Edition)
 

2 Corinthians 4:8-10 simply states that your troubles and afflictions in life are temporary and subject to change. Because of your covenant relationship with God through Christ Jesus, His resurrection life that dwells in the inside of you makes you invincible. Your identity in Christ makes you invincible.

I learned about waiting upon the Lord and I discovered that waiting on the Lord will produce a sense of invincibility. “Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary” Isaiah 40:31 (NKJV)

Four things that happen when we wait on God:

1. We gain a new level of strength; a glory strength that will be able to overcome the impossible. How do we gain His glory strength? by being in His Presence.

2. We get a better perspective of our circumstances by having an eagle’s eye view. An eagle’s eye view is seeing God’s perspective of our circumstances. An eagle’s eye view is a prophetic view. How do we gain a prophetic view? – through the Spirit of wisdom and revelations.

3. We store up extra energy or force. Faith is a force. When we wait upon the Lord, we store up faith necessary for withdrawing during times of needs. It’s like putting money in the bank; and there is something to withdraw for our needs be it personal, investment, ministry or paying bills. How do we store faith? Meditate, believe and speak the Word.

4. Waiting on God deepens our determination to persevere – which wards off weariness. How do we persevere in God? – by having an expectant heart
 

Learn to wait upon the Lord. In the waiting, He makes you invincible!
And because you are invincible this means that you are: 
Unstoppable! (Philippians 4:13)
Unbeatable! (Daniel 1:17-20)
Bullet proof! (Ephesians 6:10-18)
Invulnerable! (Psalm 18:1-20)
Unconquerable! (2 Peter 1:3-4)

Jesus’ Blood qualified you to be invincible!
